Ruth Calderon

Ruth Calderon was elected to the Knesset on Jan. 22 as a member of Yair Lapid’s Yesh Atid party. She is one of the 27 women in the Knesset and one of 48 individuals elected to the Knesset for the first time. The following is an adapted and abridged version of her inaugural address in the Knesset.
