Forbes announced yesterday that it will be hosting the first-ever international version of its “Under 30” summits starting next year, with the first two summits to be held in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.

Some 600 entrepreneurs and “game-changers” are expected to attend the Under 30 Summit EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa), which will take place April 3-6, 2016. According to Forbes, 200 attendees will be from the U.S., 200 from Europe, and 200 from Israel.

The Under 30 Summit EMEA will build on the success of Forbes’ first two Under 30 summits that were held in Philadelphia. The summits will feature “a full agenda of panels, innovative presentations, keynotes, pitch competitions and mentorship from successful business and governmental leaders.” It will also provide “rich cultural immersion opportunities” and, of course, rare networking opportunities for those entrepreneurs who attend. There will be a significant focus on building relationships between Israeli and Palestinian entrepreneurs.

The summit will also feature a global social impact competition for entrepreneurs to come up with solutions to issues that face the world today.

“We look forward to bringing our successful Under 30 Summit to the EMEA region, and there is no better place than the Start-up Nation, where innovation is at the core of everything that is going on,” Forbes editor Randall Lane stated.

“Jerusalem is one of the strongest brands in the world with over 3,000 years of investment and today we are emerging as one of the top hubs for innovation and excellence,” added Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat. “As an entrepreneur, I deeply value the importance of bringing creative minds together and as Mayor of Jerusalem, I am honoured to be hosting the Forbes Under 30 Summit in Jerusalem and look forward to welcoming the world’s most innovative entrepreneurs to our city.”

Forbes will launch its first European version of its top “30 under 30” list in January, 2016.
