Canada has joined the European Union in stepping up pressure on Iran. In a statement Monday, Minister of Foreign Affairs Lawrence Cannon said
that, effective immediately, the government has issued a new set of
sanctions aimed at curbing Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s quest
