From the archives: Wedding celebration

Background: Born in 1907, Joseph Alexandroff was one of the first Jewish children born in Toronto’s west end neighbourhood The Junction.  Joseph’s father Boris established York Wrecking Company. For a time, Joseph and Mary lived in Toronto where Joseph worked in his father’s business. They eventually settled in Hamilton where Joseph returned to the family trade and established the Reliable Wrecking Company and Reliable Lumber Company.
