The April 1 kickoff for Yoga in Motion, a fitness marathon of yoga and zumba to be held April 25 in support of breast cancer research at Mount Sinai Hospital, took place at Nathan Phillips Square. Led by Flirty Girl Fitness instructors, the outdoor zumba dance class at Nathan Phillips attracted more than 100 participants. BBK Showstoppers dance group performed to Don’t Stop Believing, and Magen Boys DJ pumped up the square with music. Now in its second year, this double fitness marathon will take place at the Liberty Grand Entertainment Complex and will support breast cancer programs at the Samuel Lunenfeld Research Institute at Mount Sinai.
