Friendship Dinner

HALIFAX — Premier Darrell Dexter of Nova Scotia recently hosted a dinner at his residence for NDP convention delegates to discuss improving the image of the party regarding Israel. “I am pleased to have greeted New Democrats in my home that share my concern for Israel and the Jewish community,” Dexter said. “Canada shares values with Israel, including family, community and democracy, in addition to public health care and a social safety net,” he added.
