JTA reported that the latest version of Adolf Hitler’s infamous anti-Semitic text Mein Kampf, a heavily annotated edition published last year by The Munich Institute for Contemporary History, topped Germany’s 2016 best-seller list for works of non-fiction.

Last January, a 70-year ban of the book’s publication expired, and Jewish groups were split on The Munich Institute’s decision to republish an annotated edition.
