Special to the CJN, Senator Linda Frum has penned a response letter to Liberal MPP Anthony Housefather’s op-ed. She writes that “the Conservative Party of Canada stands by Israel, in good times and bad. There is no daylight between our words and our actions. Roseanne Barr is claiming that she’ll move to Israel once the Roseanne spin-off (sans the comedienne), The Connors, begins airing this fall. “I have an opportunity to go to Israel for a few months and study with my favourite teachers over there,” Barr said. “I have saved a few pennies and I’m so lucky I can go. It’s my great joy and privilege to be a Jewish woman.”
