Your Daily Spiel is The CJN’s (almost) daily roundup of trending stories in the Jewish world.

Don’t actually adopt a Nazi: The Jewish Bar Association of San Francisco has launched a GoFundMe campaign dubbed Adopt-a-Nazi (Not Really) to raise money for the Southern Poverty Law Center. The campaign was launched in part in response to a right-wing rally scheduled for this weekend at the city’s Crissy Field.

Not ’cause you’re Jewish: According to Forward, the newly ousted chief White House strategist Steve Bannon is preparing to launch an “all-out war against some of President Trump’s closest Jewish advisers,” but the reinstated head of Breitbart News is anxious about the fight being framed as anti-Jewish.

Not a kosher search: Four female students from the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion were reportedly asked to lift their shirts and skirts for security before being allowed to enter the Western Wall plaza. Back in January, Israel’s High Court of Justice ruled that women are not to be subjected to body searches when entering the holy site.

Solar eclipse not a good sign: Enjoy this week’s solar eclipse? Well, bully for you. According to some sages, that sun covering business is a bad omen – and not just for Jews, but for THE ENTIRE WORLD. No biggie.
