The organization has received much criticism for its recent rulings that seemingly ignore the Jewish connection to the Temple Mount, and a similarly controversial ruling regarding Hebron.

Patent Pending: An American activist is seeking to patent the swastika in order to deprive bigots from using it.

Jew not playing Jew: In a development that one Jewcy.com writer has dubbed a shandeh, Jewish actress Natalie Portman, though slated to play Ruth Bader Ginsberg in the upcoming film On the Basis of Sex, was replaced by the British – and lovely but not Jewish actress – Felicity Jones. As the writer puts it, Ginsburg, or rather “the Notorious RBG,” is “one of the most influential and visible Jewish women in the country today,” and should thus be played by a Jewish actress.

Passing Over: A biting Op-Ed by Liel Leibovitz, a columnist at Tablet, took aim at the U.S. Anti-Defamation League over a recent report it issued. According to Leibovitz, the ADL downplayed left-wing anti-Semitism and thus demonstrated the organization’s penchant for putting “politics above principle.”
