More Trains Ordered

MONTREAL — Montreal-based Bombardier Inc. will be making more passenger trains for Israel. The company announced it has received another order from Israel Railways for 72 double-decker railcars valued at $154 million. In October, Bombardier made public its deal with Israel Railways to manufacture an initial 78 railcars with an option for more, a contract worth $185 million.
The vehicles will be made at Bombardier Transportation’s plant in Gorlitz, Germany, and in Israel. Further orders may follow under the deal.
