The Maccabeats present: A Passover parody of your favourite Justin Bieber songs

Last week we were handed two offerings of Passover parody videos that have kept us warm through the night: “The Adele/Bieber Passover Mashup,” presented by Aish.com, and “Seder,” a take on Michael Jackson’s iconic “Thriller” by Jewish a capella group Y-Studs.

All the while, however, many of us were waiting for a song from popular a capella group The Maccabeats, who rose to stardom in 2010 with a Chanukah parody of Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite,” and since then have provided many Jewish-holiday themed jams (usually parodies of pop hits).

Yesterday, they added one more song to their collection – a parody of (wait for it) the three most popular Justin Bieber songs to recently grace the airwaves: “Sorry,” “What Do You Mean?” and “Love Yourself.”

The song is (aptly) titled “Let My People Go/Story/Why Do We Lean?” and (surprise!) tells the story of Passover. Hear it, and watch the video, above.
