Tens of thousands of people marched in the 20th annual Tel Aviv Pride Parade today. The march began at Ben Zion Boulevard in south-western Tel Aviv, proceeded to the beachfront, and concluded at Charles Clore Park, where the main party is being held tonight.

Anthony Bourdain, 61, celebrity chef and host of the TV series Parts Unknown, was found dead in a hotel room in Strasbourg, France this morning. CNN announced that he took his own life. In a 2013 visit to Israel he revealed that he was Jewish, but never had a religious upbringing.

Jason Derulo announced he will be performing in Israel in August in a video shared by the the Jerusalem Post on Wednesday. The concert is called the Lollipop Summer Festival and will take place in Rishon Lezion, about five miles (eight kilometres) south of Tel Aviv.

On July 1, retaliatory trade measures imposed by Canada on the United States, including a 10 per cent tax on some food imports, will kick in. Kosher food importers say the hike in taxes at the border will likely be passed on to consumers and could raise the price of some kosher foods by as much as 15 per cent.
