Royal Ballet in Israel

WINNIPEG — The Royal Winnipeg Ballet (RWB) will  perform in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa in October for the first time since 1975. The RWB is partnering with the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg, which has planned a mission to Israel to coincide with the troupe’s performances. Manitoba Premier Greg Selinger and Opposition leader Hugh McFayden are expected to participate in the mission and to be in attendance when the ballet performs. Members of the ballet company are expected to join the mission for selected touring events.
