School Supply Drive

CALGARY — Na’amat Canada’s Calgary branch launched its 13th annual School Supplies for Kids program last week. With gifts from the Office Depot Foundation, as well as from corporate, foundation and individual donors, Na’amat aims to provide backpacks filled with school supplies to 1,250 children in local domestic violence shelters, the Calgary Herald reported. Office Depot customers can also drop off supplies at in-store bins until Sept. 15. Na’amat runs similar drives in Edmonton, Vancouver, Ottawa and southern Ontario. Visit  www.naamat.com for details.
