The Zionist youth movements Habonim Dror/Camp Gesher, Hashomer Hatzair/Camp Shomria, Young Judea/Camp Shalom and the Israeli Scouts held the first Youth Movements Day in Toronto on May 3 at Earl Bales Park. The theme was Lag b’Omer, and events and activities included an obstacle course, a three-legged race, a cheering competition, kite-making, a barbecue, a bonfire and performances of each movement’s own Israeli dance or song.
