Oxfam Denies Split

NEW YORK — Oxfam International is denying a report it cut ties with a Sex and the City star because she endorses an Israeli firm that operates in the West Bank. The New York Post reported that  Kristin Davis is no longer an Oxfam spokesperson because she does ads for Ahava cosmetics, which makes its products in the Mitzpe Shalem settlement. An Oxfam spokesperson said, however, that Davis and Oxfam haven’t cut ties but are figuring out how to handle what could become a “distraction” from the work of Oxfam, which has advocated against settlements in the past.
