We will do it. Please join us!

The board of directors is happy to confirm that the print newspaper will continue. We are acting upon the recommendations of an expert adviser who has given us a viable blueprint for continuing. However, that is only possible if you do your part.

As I have said on previous occasions, The CJN must make some strategic changes to its business model and the way in which we produce the newspaper.  We will need new subscribers and existing subscribers will be asked to accept a higher subscription rate immediately. Advertisers, old and new, must commit to advertise on an ongoing basis.  Everything that is required of subscribers, advertisers, guarantors, our staff and the board of directors must come together. We believe that it will.

The CJN will be moving to a new location in Toronto this summer. That, combined with other adjustments we need to make to our operations, dictate that we pause after the current issue and resume publishing with the August 1 edition.

Thank you for believing in the The CJN.  You will soon be approached. Join us in reviving and renewing this important institution – by subscribing and advertising immediately.
