There’s an app for bubbie, too

Anyone who’s tried to set their bubbie up with a new computer or smartphone may have walked away thinking that the money would be better spent on a box of envelopes, a pad of paper, a pen and a book of stamps. This way, she can communicate with her loved ones without worrying about this fancy email thing.

But what if technology could actually help your bubbie do what she does best, only more efficiently?

American Friends of The Hebrew University demonstrated this idea in a recently released series of YouTube videos. They feature a bubbie promoting three apps, which do things such as automatically remind family members to give her a call, or put on a jacket when it’s cold.

Would It Kill You To Call?

It’s Cold!
